Merritt Island
Central Brevard Swimming trains at the Merritt Island High School Pool in Merritt Island, Florida. The pool is outdoors, located behind the theater, near the large school parking lot off of Courtenay Parkway. Most people enter from the north side of the school (same entrance as the football field), across from CVS.
Florida's Space Coast
Brevard County is in East Central Florida, on the Florida's "Space Coast." Merritt Island is situated between the Banana and Indian rivers, approximately four miles west of Cocoa Beach. Merritt Island is also where the Kennedy Space Center is located. Sometimes we even stop practice for a few minutes to watch a rocket launch.
